Excellent accommodation, very clean and well stocked.in beautiful environment. Everything you need for a relaxing getaway.

What a beautiful, peaceful haven. It is the second time we have visited Brook Lodge and will not hesitate to go back. The lodge is immaculate, the setting is tranquil and private and the whole set-up is perfect if travelling with a dog. We were completely undisturbed and the hot tub is absolutely perfection- clean, clearly highly maintained and in an excellent spot. We can't wait to visit again.
Verified Guest
Beautiful lodge will definitely return could not ask for more very clean fantastic hottub thank you dogs had a wonderful time didn't want to leave
Verified Guest
Well kept and managed, a lovely place to get away and chill for a few days. Would recommend to anyone who is considering we will be back ????
Verified Guest
The most lovely lodge very relaxing and we will 100% stay again.
Verified Guest
Easy booking with plenty of information beforehand. The lodge was beautiful, masses of space, light, airy and clean. The owners have thought of everything. It's the perfect place to go if you have dogs- secure balcony, beautiful walks and peace and tranquility. We will most definitely be using rural retreats again and revisiting the lodge.
Verified Guest
Nothing is too much trouble and the place is always clean. Lovely views . Been many times and will be back

This was my 6th visit and found the lodge wasn’t as clean as before and looking tired. I am hoping this will be addressed
Verified Guest
Spacious and very comfortable accommodation. Lovely peaceful grounds. Convenient for local venues and good pub.. But technical deficiencies intruded : for example, the dishwasher needs replacing.
Verified Guest
Excellent well appointed accommodation. All staff extremely helpful and pleasant. Great relaxing stay.
Verified Guest
Excellent quality lodge for lovely peaceful break. Lodge itself was huge for 2 people. Deck and hot tub very private and secure for our dog. Excellent walks directly from the lodge. Goody hamper had some lovely treats as well as everyday basics. Only slight criticism was that the grass and bushes had been left to grow - which whilst I appreciate is good for nature, we felt that it all looked a bit overgrown and didn't have the lovely grass area out of the front of the lodges as all the pictures show!

Brook Lodge was stunning!! We fell in love with it as soon as we opened the doors. The open plan kitchen/living room was spacious, light and well laid out. A really comfortable recliner sofa. Every possibility was catered for in the kitchen. The bathroom was so luxurious with a huge stand alone bath and a waterfall shower. The bedroom was spacious, lots of storage and the bath robes were a welcome treat. The hot tub was set to temperature on arrival and we certainly took advantage of that during our stay. A very thoughtful welcome basket awaited us in the kitchen along with milk, cheese, butter, bread, tea, coffee and grapes in the fridge, unexpected, but most appreciated. We had a Sainsbury's delivery come that day, but it allowed us to have a lovely cup of tea with biscuits whilst we waited. There is a veranda that goes the whole way around the sides and back of the property with two recline beds for relaxing a table and chairs with umbrella if you want to eat outside, along with the hot tub. You have your own gate that leads down some steps to the meadow and fields below and a brick BBQ. There are four other lodges, but they are set back enough and have lots of shrubbery to feel you have total privacy. The grounds are amazing. We took our two dogs with us and we enjoyed some lovely walks, despite one day of rain. Free wi-fi and smart tv ensured we could enterain ourselves in the evenings. A very informative booklet was available, detailing local restaurants, pubs, walks etc, as well as in the surrounding areas. menus for local restaurants that deliver and booklets about places of interest were also included. Everything you need to know about the lodge, the equipment, etc was covered. I could go on for ever, we can't praise it enough. We will most definitely come back. It is perfect for all year round visits, I imagine Christmas with snow would be amazing. 5 star luxury across the board. You won't be disappointed. Don't delay, book now!

Lovely & relaxing location. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a little break from it all

We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay in the brook lodge and will definitely be returning

Luxury accommodation in great private spot. We’ve stayed in some great holiday homes and this one ranks at the top. Would definitely book again.
Verified Guest
The accommodation and location were excellent and exactly what we were hoping for. A perfect place to take dogs; you can feel safe and there are lovely walks straight from your doorstep. Very helpful and responsive owners (the sun unexpectedly appeared and we had a requested sun shade delivered within 30 minutes).

The first impressions were fantastic, great location, fantastic lodge very well equipped. We wanted a quite holiday break with the dogs where we could walk in quiet locations. this was 100% achieved. Only a handful of lodges spaciously apart and positioned perfectly so you can enjoy your own comforts without being imposed on by others. We would recommend this property. We would like to say thank you for making our holiday exactly how we like it. The Swan pub 3 minutes drive away also does excellent food.
Verified Guest
Really lovely quiet and secluded lodge but a few little criticisms. Fan in bathroom didn’t work and we thought it was too dark in there. Could do with some light over the mirror. Electrics were a bit ‘iffy’ and the living room socket only worked intermittently. We found somebody else’s dirty socks in the wardrobe. The front door definitely needs some lubrication, and the road to the lodge had quite a few potholes and ruts. These were understandable at the start of the track where building work was going on, but they went beyond that area. It would be quite easy to fill them in.
Verified Guest
Superb lodge in beautiful setting. Clean, spacious, comfortable, private and the hot tub is the icing on the cake! Will be back soon.

Absolutely loved our stay. The lodge was perfect. Will definitely return!
Five star property in a five star location. A high specification property offering every comfort, set in a haven for wildlife. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone. Ian and Anna the perfect hosts.
Hailey
The cottage had an amazing view of the water and land. We saw lots of deer! The cottage was very very clean and had everything we needed for our stay.
Gordon
A really quiet and peaceful location surrounded by fields filled with Hares and Deer. The view is quite stunning too. Ian met us when we arrived and explained most things. However an information pack would be have been helpful. The accomodation is clean, warm and comfortable with most things you would need for everyday living. The track to the annex is quite long and rough so we were pleased not to have a low slung car. All in all we had a very enjoyable stay, the only downside being the missing bean to cup coffee machine and the pub not really being within easy walking distance.
Nicole
Loved staying here the view from the patio is amazing. Took some beautiful photos of sunrises and sunsets. There is so much wildlife to watch, Hare, Deer, Magpie, Jay, Woodpecker and other birds. Must make sure you take enough wood for the Jacuzzi. We did not but will next time.
Samantha
Pollys Annexe is absolutely everything it says on the listing and more. A beautiful home, decorated, maintained and accessorised to a meticulous standard. The hosts added so much to the experience also, super helpful, always on hand but fully respecting of your privacy too. The tranquil surroundings, dreamy hot tub, and very comfortable beds all contributed to the enjoyment our stay. Watching the hares running around and deers strolling by was absolutely magical. Thanks for having us Ian and Anna, we will definitely be booking again.
Miriam
We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Pollys annex. Anna and Ian were most welcoming. The Annex was very well equipped and spotlessly clean. The views were amazing and the birds and wildlife were incredible. There is plenty to do in the area. The hot tub was so lovely, thanks to Ian firing it up for us. The only thing that would be helpful is a welcome pack, suggesting local amenities, but this is a minor thing. Thank you Anna and Ian.
Wonderful location for nature lovers with regular and close sightings of hare and deer. Well appointed accommodation with comfy beds, though the main settee was a bit too squishy for us. With a good view towards the docks, it was convenient for visiting Felixtowe and Woodbridge, both places with much of interest. We hope for a return visit to the annexe.
Beautiful holiday home in the perfect location . Would definitely return . Hosts were brilliant from start to finish
Fabulous accommodation. Beautiful location watching deer , hares and birds of prey everyday was amazing . Ian and Anna were so friendly and helpful. They advised us of best places to eat etc in the area. We will definitely be coming back.
Angela
Lovely property, clean, modern and comfortable. So much wildlife to watch and amazing views of river and Felixstowe. Well placed for exploring Suffolk, also good walks nearby.
An amazing holiday home in a stunning location. We had a wonderful week. Seeing the deer each day was special. The owners were discrete and on hand should you need anything. The hot tub is great but you will need plenty of logs!
The property was stunning in a wonderful location! The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. We will return
A stunning property just off the beaten track in the beautiful village of Levington, with its quaint church and local pub about a 1520 min walk away. This is an ideal situation for long walks, watching wildlife and generally chilling out. Beautiful views across the fields to the estuary and magnificent sunrises! The property itself is very well appointed to a high standard and is very comfortable. The hosts are lovely and we hope to return one day when the weather is warmer and make use of the outside space more.
Eileen
Lovely quiet warm & clean annexe, the owners were lovely and helpful. Beautiful views and wildlife. Great place as base for day walks. Great place for couple to unwind. Would visit again.
Russell
Thank you to Ian and Anna for a lovely stay at Polly's Annexe. This property is truly a treasure. The property is well equipped and very comfortable. The view from the living area is exceptional and plenty of wildlife ranging from hares to deer. The view across to the port is captivating and especially lovely first thing in the morning through the mist. Anna and Ian have the right mix between being available for any questions, but also letting guests have their privacy. A couple of minor suggestions, providing a brief instruction hintstips sheet on heating the hot tub. Adding a wifi booster plug in the property to ensure consistent strong coverage. To conclude, we had the best break, lovely and relaxing. Highly recommend to people thinking about staying here, it's special.
Richard
Polly's Annex was an incredible place to staya true gem. It was peaceful place, with much entertainment provided by local wildlife rabbits, hares, squirrels, and herds of deer parading around the annex throughout both day and night. The accommodation was both comfortable and luxurious, with all the amenities we needed. The views over the Orwell coast to Felixstowe docks were breathtaking and truly came alive at night. A fantastic relaxing stay to get away from it all, thoroughly recommend it.
Jennifer
A fabulous relaxing away from it all holiday complete with wildlife. What more could one ask for. Anna gave us a personal tour of the property and Ian very kindly delivered the weekend newspapers. Stunning location with ever changing views across the estuary. Highly recommend this accommodation
The best holiday accommodation we have ever stayed in. Pollys Annex is superb with wonderful views and easy access to the beautiful Suffolk coast
Delightful, comfortable accommodation with spectacular views towards Felixstowe. We loved the hot tub. You need to know how to light a fire though. Take plenty of logs with you. Very quiet & private. Resident deers & hares. A real treat.
Owners are lovely people and did everything to make sure we had a great time. The view is amazing and surrounds are spectacular.
One of the best we have been to. ..especially for it's remoteness and fabulous escape from noise of any kind except birds and wildlife. Talking of which! it was like staying in a little mini zoo with all the wildlife that visited us! Resident 3 hares, green woodpecker, deer, badger,.....all framed nicely by the sweet lullaby of almost none stop skylarks singing .Wow. If you want to escape the noise and pressure of city living then this IS the for you. Didn't want to come home. There is a very long bumpy unmade track to the cottage...but that was a healthy price to pay for the solitude! Just get into the practice of putting car in 1st gear and trundle slowly along and enjoy the surroundings! Mega thanks to Ian and Anna...top hosts who love a chat . No noise whatsoever from the owners house aside the cottage. Can't wait to come back
Danielle
Perfect in every way. Amazing amazing amazing. Owners made us feel so welcome, the property is completed to the highest standards, view was stunning. Honestly just everything was perfect.
Mitchell
The good points were the location was fantastic, the hosts were very welcoming and helpful and the annex was very well equipped and clean.
If youre looking for peace, tranquility an interaction with wildlife and getting away from the hustle and bustle of busy city living while having a modern living environment then this place is a must, we would definitely return.
Pamela
Lovely Annex, overlooking the Orwell estuary with a spectacular light show from the Felixstowe docks every evening. Helpful, discrete owners on hand for queries. We would only add a hand towel in the kitchen picky, picky. All else was delightful. Very convenient to get to local sights and a friendly pub up the road. Will recommend to friends visiting Suffolk.
Absolutely loved our stay, hosts were lovely. Everywhere was impeccably clean. Air fryer was so handy, we had everything we needed and thoroughly enjoyed the break. Be great to see the building when its rendered but the design and quality is amazing and with the view of the countryside you dont really sit and look at the house. Loved the walks and little country pub, even popped into the beautiful church. We will definitely be returning
What a beautiful cottage surrounded by stunning scenery! From pre arrival to departure, the host Ian was incredibly helpful and very warm. The cottage and its grounds were even more stunning than the pictures. The cottage was tastefully decorated to high specs, cosy and bright especially with the morning rays. Everything you need is provided within the cottage. Close proximity to the beach and lovely views of Felixstowe from the front patio. Very family friendly and lots deer , Suffolk hare and rabbits to see from the living room windows. This was the highlight for our daughters. The host was just brilliant and nothing was too big a deal. Always with a smile. Only thing I'll change about the cottage is the see through bathroom windows, would be ideal to have frosted windows or blinds for privacy as you can see in from outside though it's round the side of the house . Overall, it was an excellent cottage with absolutely beautiful surroundings which was also very relaxing. Will definitely be back for a longer period next time.
Michael
Lovely accommodation, very modern, well equipped and well finished inside. Fantastic views and a good location.
The annex is without doubt in a wonderful and peaceful location with fabulous views across open field's with no near neighbours apart from the owner's. The annex itself was very high spec build, modem furnishing and dcor throughout. It had everything you would need down to a can opener. The Annex has under floor heating in the open plan lounge, this was not that warm at night time, however blankets are provided. The bathroom is a jack and jill bathroom connecting both bedrooms, however in the bathroom there is no blind and the window is not frosted. This is not practical if you are sharing with family or friend's. The host heated the hot tub for us the following day after we arrived. It is heated by wooden logs with no heating regulator the temperature went up to 44.5 dg the only way to cool it down was to use a garden hose. The next time we asked the host for the hot tub he told us it took him a whole day to heat it last time he did for us out of the goodness of his heart Thank you and that if we wanted the hot tub again to go and buy our own logs and heat it ourselves. This was not in the description about bring logs or we would have never have booked, that is the only real negatives.
Absolutely amazing hosts, helped whenever needed and just generally kind people. Would 100 come back and stay again.
An amazing cottage that has everything we wanted. Its stunning location and seclusion is only complimented by the awesome facilities. An amazing warm welcome by Ian and Anna makes this cottage complete. Thank you
Jacqueline
Very well appointed and extremely clean with everything you need. The hot tub was great and the views are amazing. When you open to doors there is silence only wildlife .. pure bliss
This is a fabulous property in a wonderful location. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful and did everything to make our stay really memorable. We will be back!
Absolutely refreshing weekend it was at pollys annexe. Litrally home! The privacy and peace was priceless, The view its self, cant find words to describe. Facilitates were superb, would honestly advice anyone to stay.
We had a lovely stay at Polly's Annexe over the Bank Holiday weekend. The property and it's views are absolutely stunning, our hosts were extremely helpful and accommodating. The small touches went a long way in making our weekend enjoyable the homemade cake delivered to our door, bottle of wine, fresh flowers, hot tub on. The facilities, appliances and crockery were also of a high quality, coffee machine was fabulous. Would definitely stay again!
Matthew
We had an excellent stay. The only complaint was for a longer stay there was limited room for drying towels and no washing machine! Otherwise absolutely fantastic
WOW, what a find this place was! ! A true gem in the heart of Suffolk. Fantastic hospitality from the hosts from arriving to leaving. The Annex itself is beautiful, and the views are amazing! Ideal location to see the beautiful Suffolk countryside. We would 100 come back to Pollys Annex. 10 out of 10 from us!!
We had the most lovely stay, our hosts were ever so helpful and nice! Nothing was a problem for them, always happy to help. A great addition for us was that they were extremely child friendly and gentle towards our children. The lovely views add a great taste to the holiday experience!
Wonderful stay ! !! Clean comfortable. So peaceful, beautiful views, quiet. The wildlife is amazing, deer , hares, woodpeckers to name a few . Great hosts! Happy to help , and lovely goodies in the fridge when we arrived. Hot tub was a bonus.
