The Owls at Oxley comprises two semi-detached converted barns in Shingle Street, Suffolk. Barn Owl sleeps 6 guests across three bedrooms: two twins and one king-size master. Little Owl accommodates 4 guests in one twin and one king-size bedroom. Both properties feature open-plan living spaces with log burning stoves, fully equipped kitchens and private decked areas with BBQ facilities. Each barn has two bathrooms. Hot tub hire is available for an additional charge.

We stayed at the barns over Christmas and it was just what we needed for our big family get-together. The two properties are really well equipped and super comfy. The owners are close by but never intrusive - so friendly when you need them. Loved the little touches like milk, tea, breadand even a bottle of Prosecco in each house. Our dogs had a great time too. We'd definitely come back!

The cottage itself was lovely, quite cosy and well-maintained. We picked this place mainly because of the pool, which was a bit of a letdown since it was out of use the entire week, even though the weather was pretty warm at times. We paid a bit extra for the pool, so it was disappointing not to be able to use it when we arrived. Still, the location was greatand the house had everything we needed. It's a shame about the pool, but overall, we enjoyed our stay. Would consider returning if the pool was available next time!

Everything was clean and well stockedand Chris and Diane were super friendly and helpful. The hot tub was ready on arrival, which was a nice bonus, though the plunge pool was a bit tricky for some. The weather was gorgeousand we loved chilling on the decking outside Barn Owl. Great spot overall!
