Sleep 16 Reviews

We were a party of 14 celebrating my husbands 70th birthday the house was ideal with brilliant facilities for all age ranges, we particularly liked the hot tub and sauna which seemed to be in use most of the time. The two kitchens were well stocked with all items you could wish for bedrooms were lovely and clean and the bedding was comfortable everyone commented how nice the duvets were we would highly recommend the house to anyone wanting to celebrate with family and friends we will be back .. if we can that is!

WOW just an amazing property. We all had the best time for our family get together. The owners were particularly helpful and friendly. We have already started thinking of another stay. Thank you so much South Grange. X

Absolutely beautiful barn! We were all in awe when we first went in, it was the perfect place for us all to stay together as a family while in Suffolk for our wedding. The barn is beautifully decorated and very homely, plenty of space on the drive and beautiful views all round. The bbq, hot tub, sauna and outdoor seating were well used! Everything was so clean and comfortable, could not recommend more.

The venue was fine and lived up to expectations. The platform Sykes was a disappointment and would recommend looking for alternative provider for this property. The process of communication with Sykes on arrival was poor, very delayed response and not particularly helpful however main issue was with claims of damage to carpet. We were asked about 4 claims of damage to carpets of which we asked for more information to support the inquiry from them and received no feedback. We implied acceptance of one claim spilt milk but did not accept liability for the remaining claims yet no further contact until a deduction from the bond. Heavy handed under the circumstances and indicative of a digital platform that doesnt really wish to engage. But the property was good and despite Sykes, had a good time
What a beautiful cottage! The cottage was spotless and very well presented. Thank you for the welcome pack that was very much appreciated. The bed was very comfortable with beautiful cotton bedding. We enjoyed the hot tub, we found it did take a while to heat up so plan your day so you can enjoy the tub in the evening. It was great watching the sunset in the evening whilst in the tub! Thank you we had a wonderful time.
The house suited our elevenstrong family beautifully. Lots of space to lose oneself, warm both physically an decoratively, wellequipped, great pool table monopolised by the youngsters, hot tub in the rain and room for a fleet of cars. A lovely house in every respect. Pity about the weather, which was, to put it mildly, wet. Very wet! ps Two small gripes no compost binfacility. A pair of kitchen scissors would be nice.

This was a fabulous cottage packed full of features and had everything we needed for a perfect weekend away to see in the New Year. The hot tub was lovely, it takes some effort as it is wood burning but it is well worth it. I'd suggest a screen to block out the other hot tub if separate parties are staying to give you a little bit of privacy. We loved our stay and are hoping to hire the entire house later this year.

This property is well located giving a very quiet and peaceful ambience to a stay. The rooms are extremely spacious and well decorated and furnished. The grounds are attractive and well kept. However, a few things need urgent attention by the owner . 1. There is no handrail on the steep staircase which contravenes current Building Regulations. 2. The pull switch for the bathroom light is incredibly, positioned BEHIND the door, which has to be opened fully to reach it this can be hazardous. 3. There was a serious housefly infestation in the main bedroom which rendered it unusable, although being just a couple, we used the second bedroom. My last grumble concerns the locked connecting door in the lounge between the adjoining house. Much noise can be heard through this door when the other occupants are using their entrance hallway or kitchen, which abuts the doorway. Bricking it up would seem the only answer here. It's a shame that these problems have marred what is a very fine restored farmhouse, but we did enjoy the stay which was blessed with unusually good October weather. Regards Michael P Keen
Ruined by hundreds of flies and I mean hundreds, I have some disgusting pictures of them squished underneath the pillows! in the main bedroom which the landlord says is to be expected so you can expect that if its cold as he says they come inside to stay warm and just fall on the floor. He said its an old house in the country it wouldnt bother me and his offer of help was to leave a vacuum cleaner for us to hoover them up each day as more kept coming in. We had to move the bed in the day to stop them getting on our pillows as they seemed to come in that side of the room despite all the windows being shut. Thankfully we werent staying long and theyve refused any kind of compensation for the farcical state of affairs. Absolute disgrace.

A lovely high quality renovation, we really appreciated the house and setting. The kitchen is well equipped and beds and linens are comfortable. Hoping to be back next September.
Sharon
We hired the cottage and house to celebrate our parents silver anniversary, in every way it was perfect and the setting, views were stunning. The house and cottage were spotlessly clean and the most comfy beds we have every stayed in. We are looking at booking again and would recommend for family, friends get togethers.
Andrew
Photos do not do justice, the cottage was just lovely. Quiet, peaceful location. Easy to find. Very comfortable, spotlessly clean, all facilities available and everything thought about to make an excellent stay. Would highly recommend.
One of the best cottages I have stayed in, so peaceful you can have a really relaxing holiday rooms are all a lovely size with all mod cons. The patio in beautiful in the evening when the sun is setting. Hope to come back one day

We were lucky to be the first people renting this property. It really did exceed our expectations the online photos don't do it justice. It was beautiful inside and outside. The house was thoughtfully furnished and equipped perhaps consider adding a cafetiere. We loved sitting in the yard with the sunset in the evenings, with a seriously good and restful view. We enjoyed local walks and appreciated the suggestions for local amenities in the folder. We left a note recommending the pub at Sibton for eating but also enjoyed other places in Peasenhall and Yoxford. The property is also well placed for visiting elsewhere, e.g. Snape Maltings. We were lucky to be sole occupiers for a week. Perhaps the communal back yard might not always work if two sets of occupants both want privacy. Also, other people might be irritated by our dog! We couldn't find instructions about putting bin out and recycling in the folder. The owners responded amazingly quickly when there was an issue. Overall, a great stay thank you
