Is Beach House Kessingland Right For You?

Discover why this cottage is ideal for different types of visitors

For Families
Children have access to a sunken trampoline, slide and playhouse in the safe enclosed garden. The basement games room features a pool table and home cinema system for entertainment. Two bedrooms have raised cabin beds designed for children. Direct beach access through the garden gate provides endless seaside fun. The large lawn offers space for outdoor games and activities throughout the day.
For Couples
Beach House Kessingland works better for large groups than couples due to its size and eight-bedroom layout. The property sleeps 15 people and is designed for family gatherings rather than intimate breaks. Couples would find themselves with excessive unused space. The hot tub and sea-facing terrace offer romantic potential but the scale of the accommodation doesn't suit two people.
Pet Friendly
Up to three dogs are welcome at Beach House Kessingland. Pets must remain on the ground floor and basement areas only and cannot go on furniture. The enclosed garden provides a safe space for dogs to play and exercise. Direct beach access through the garden gate means easy walks along the shore. An outdoor hot shower near the back door helps clean muddy paws after beach adventures.

Beach House Kessingland Reviews

Clifford
This house is very comfortable and well equipped. From early 2026, it will have a brand new indoor pool. The garden and terrace have an amazing view over the sea. We would love to return in summer to make best use of the facilities. The owner kept us informed about everything and was really helpful throughout our stay. The basement contains a new huge TV, having replaced a projector entertainment system.
Lesley
A really lovely house. Everything you need is there. Well equipped, comfy house. Plenty of space and parking .
Helen
Fabulous house in a fabulous location. Excellent for large get togethers and ideal for dogs. The house has everything you need, The children and dogs loved the garden. Lovely, spacious rooms with great views.
Jacqui
Absolutely fantastic location. The view is magnificent and access straight onto the beach was so appreciated. House is spacious with plenty of hot water and rooms thoroughly cleaned although somewhat tired and in need of a bit of TLC regarding internal paintwork and furnishings. Photographs are slightly misleading, as clearly taken when the property was refurbished six or seven years ago. All in all for seven adults, three children and dogs we had a wonderful relaxing week.
Charlotte
Beautiful house, beautiful setting. Our 3 children loved the garden so safe and kept them entertained and very happy. Enjoyed doing yoga on the rooftop terrace, wow what a view. Reading and enjoying a coffee up there was just heavenly. The hot tub was great, we had a stunning view in the evening enjoying the moon over the sea. The kitchen was very well equipped, great for big gatherings. The beds were very comfortable and bathrooms very clean. The beach is just there, at the bottom of the garden! I very much recommend this to anyone with children it ticks all the boxes. Thank you once again Beach House
Emily
We had an amazing family holiday celebrating my birthday, the house was perfect for this celebration and loved falling asleep to the sound of the sea
Robert
Excellent, lots of space & information. A lot of stairs but our group of 11 aged from 75 to 87 didn't have any problems. Really good parking Usurpassed access to the beach. Lovely enclosed safe garden for young children and doddering old folks alike.
Kenneth
Very good location and plenty of good sized bedrooms.
Ian
Truly a great place it exceeded all our expectations
Jo
Fabulous accommodation for an extended family . We were a group of thirteen and there were plenty of options for sleeping. There is everything you could need for cooking and serving meals. The children loved the garden and basement and the range of toys and games provided.
Rosemary
A lovely house for a family celebration with three generation. The games room was a great hit with the teenagers. Everyone really enjoyed the hot tub and lovely walks on the beach.
Guy
A nice house with a lovely setting, ideal for large families.
Caroline
As describedâ??very comfortable beds, a clean house, and a well-equipped kitchen. A wonderful nature reserve with a bird hide within walking distance. It was a shame that the Wi-Fi was not working, as we were there for a working retreat. However, these things happen, and we managed. After many attempts, for which we were grateful, access was only restored in the kitchen on the afternoon before we left.
Linda
Lovely house and fantastic setting, very comfy beds, well equipped games room and garden (suited all our grandchildren from 6-16) relaxing few days with all the family.
Tracy
Lovely big house with amazing views, great for big family gatherings. Plenty of parking spaces for all cars. Has everything you need or require. Pub and fish and chip shop within an easy stroll along the path from the back garden. Nice peaceful stay, very relaxing, would definitely recommend.
Mavis
Four generations of our family stayed at this lovely house, and it catered to every one of us. It is comfortable, well-equipped, and spacious, with wonderful views over the beach. We had a fantastic break and did not want to leave. The hot tub is a must. It was great fun.
Jon
The property was very clean, warm and welcoming with comfy beds and pillows. Large bedrooms over the upper floors, (but note the 2nd floor stairs are steep and narrow), the views from the roof terrace are very impressive. The garden was large and securely fenced. We had a wonderful multi-generational family get together in this property and wouldnâ??t hesitate to book again.
Ben
We went away as a big family including dogs and children. This property met every single expectation. It was a wonderful property with incredible views and walks. Thank you for letting us stay
Claire

Karenl
Lovely property located right on the beach. House has the wow factor as soon as you step in ... from the stain glass windows. The kitchen is massive fully equipped. The bedrooms are all spacious most have unsuited. Down stairs the basement has a games room and toys for the kids. More are hidden away under the benches. Garden excellent for kids all enclosed and overlooks the beach. Wifi is not very strong kept dropping and we had no phone signal in house. We booked the hot tub .... was lovely.
Roy
The Beach House is wonderful. My family had an amazing time, very relaxing. We couldn't have asked for anything better.
Elizabeth
We have rented holiday accommodation several times a year for 20 years and and for both us and the dogs this was one of the best both for comfort and location. We cannot recommend this property highly enough and will definitely be returning.
Larah
It was a beautiful home, with everything you could need inside, in an amazing location on the beach! Highly recommend staying here for any big groups including families!
Anne
This was the second year we have visited Beach House as last year we enjoyed our stay so much. The house and location is just perfect for a family holiday, in particular the large open plan dining/kitchen area, the games room, the garden and being able to walk onto the beach from the garden. Absolutely ideal for children and dogs. The views are stunning. There are a few "niggles" that need attention but this certainly didn't detract from a fabulous holiday. We would definitely return again.
Adam
Lovely house for a family get together. Property needing a bit of tlc in some places but overall a lovely property for a large group/family
Kay
An excellent large house in a perfect location. We were a group of 8 ladies who all had our own rooms, some singles but no problem! The kitchen area is perfect for entertaining and the garden and views were amazing.
Charlotte
House was brilliant, very cosy and well equipped. Great location, beautiful views. Beds were also very comfortable.
Edwina
Beach House is a fabulous place to rent for a large party for a big birthday. We were 3 generations and had the most wonderful week in February. The house was really warm and comfortable and we all loved the hot tub which was a great extra. The children loved the garden and direct access to the beach was amazing.
Charlotte
Great house for family and friends to get together. Wonderful sea views and lovely entertaining space in the kitchen.
Gillian
